The 11th Gerry Whelan Memorial weekend will be taking place in Cootehill, Co. Cavan from the 11th - 13th September. It is a weekend of music, singing and dancing with:

All Ireland Champions the Knockmore Ceili Band and

James Greenan (Riverdance) "The evolution of Irish Dance"

Workshops on: Fiddle, Button Accordion, Banjo, Bodhran,

Tin Whistle and Flute

Other Events Include: Singing & Storytelling, Caint agus Comhrá, Creative Art Workshop, Street Music, Oiche Ceol, Fíor Céili, Folk Club and Pub Sessions
