Award-winning stand-up and the newest addition to RTÉ’s ‘The Republic of Telly’ Ed Sammon returns to Townhall with his new show ‘Ed Sammon vs Cancer’.
Bringing new meaning to the phrase ‘as funny as cancer’, Ed, who will also be known to audiences as Fr. Gabriel in ‘Bridget and Eamonn’, will give his blackly comical, yet uplifting take on his own recent fight with cancer, and speak of his desire to die in a hilarious way.
Townhall audiences may also remember Ed from his uproarious twist on ‘Misery’, which brought the house down at Townhall’s Neon Wake last October. Book tickets now at Multisound Cavan for a night of rib-ticking, belly-aching, side-splitting and other painful-sounding experiences in the company of one of the country’s finest up-and-coming comedians.
Tickets, priced €15, are available from Multisound Cavan. Call 049-4361312 to book.
