The Professional Development Awards for Artists will be open on Monday 16 January at a Registration and Information Session at Johnston Library Events Space, Farnham Centre, Farnham St, Cavan at 2.30pm.   Mary Mc Auliffe, arts consultant will be available to advise on the development of a submission for the professional development award.   It is advisable for artists considering applying to attend this Registration and Informaiton Session.   Please forward an email with your intention to attend to Santina Burns santinaburns@cavancoco.ie on or before Thursday 12 January.   Application forms will be available after the 16 January. 

Closing Date for the Professional Development Awards is Friday 3 February 2017.

This fund provides funding to individual professional artists based in Cavan who earn a proportion or all their annual income through their artistic practice. Cavan County Council will offer the Professional Development Award in respect of professional artists practicing in the following art forms in 2017: architecture, literature, theatre, dance, film, music, visual arts, traditional arts, youth arts, collaborative arts or in multi-disciplinary contexts.
