The main purpose of this event (which will be coordinated by Tyrone singer Cathal Lynch) is to explore the background of Irish Traditional singing and hear from each individual singer their own personal journey in the world of song.  We will hear each singer talk about the songs they sing, where they obtained them and of course hear them sing a song or two!

There will be chance to ask questions, get the words of songs and record the rich tradition which is flowing throughout country at present.  Singer Roisin White, Co Down will talk about her new book & 2 cds “ Tis pretty to be in Ballinderry “ "Robert Cinnamond 1884-1968" during the event.  This event hopes to be the start of a possible singing weekend to be held in Cavan as part of the NYAH events.
