This crash course from the perspective of a seasoned publisher will look at how to edit a work-in-progress and how to hone and perfect the script before submission. Examining the various elements of fiction writing including the
all-important opening chapters, characterisation, setting and plot, this seminar will provide an overview of the editing process, how to avoid common mistakes, and how different forms of writing might fit within the commercial world of publishing. Time will be allowed for Q & A.
