This is a collaborative exhibition of work created in a workshop series facilitated by artist Carolann Farrelly.
The clients have explored the world around them by creating a collaborative work of Fire, Water, Earth and Air and each contribution from each client forms an element, that combined have led to this important exhibition.
This is part of a wider programme of activities that includes Musical Drama, Reflexology and Massage and the purchase of musical instruments for the clients.
There has been a sense of pulling together – the staff at the Day Centres have helped to blend these new activities into the activities of the Day Centres and have shown flexibility and willingness to try something new. Workshop facilitators have worked diligently and have been a vital element of making this project work bringing their depth of experience and ability to work in such a respectful way with those participating.
This exhibition and indeed the project is something the clients and all those who have helped and made it such a rich experience can be truly proud.
The project has been initiated and organised by Breffni Integrated under the Social Inclusion Community Activation Programme and funded by the HSE National Lottery Fund.
