Cavan remembers the 1916 Rising on Saturday 23 April, with a packed programme of events taking place in Cavan Town from 12noon until midnight.

Events include a re-imagining of Cavan as it was in 1916, a commemorative parade, a solemn remembrance, musical performances, and the theatrical event 'The Proclamation' at Townhall Cavan.
