Arts and Health Forum Continuing Professional Development Opportunities
Continuing professional development for artists, health, community and youth leaders will recommence at Townhall, Cavan as part of the Cavan and Monaghan Arts and Health Forum. A number of topics will be explored and the first of these is ‘Boundary’ in working through arts practice with others.
Monday 12 October is for artists and community/youth workers who consider that they have little experience of considering boundary as part of their work and who may not have worked in community, youth and social contexts. This day is particularly for artists who want to learn more about working through the arts with children, youths and vulnerable adults and consider that they may wish to develop a socially engaged practice.
Tuesday 13 October is aimed at artists, health professionals and youth / community workers who have experience of integrating boundaries as part of their work practice and would value an opportunity to renew their professional development in this area.
This training will be delivered by Blue Box who use the creative arts psychotherapy model to improve health and well-being for young people, children and their families. www.bluebox.ie
