We know you love the land, particularly the region of Marble Arch Caves UNESCO Global Geopark and the arts.
We are looking to map the Geopark poem by poem and for that we need you and your poetry writing friends to contact me for submission guidelines at GeoparkPoetryMap@gmail.com
Poems need to have a strong geoheritage theme and be site specific. The Geopark staff have created a wonderful document with plenty of research on twenty-one sites at your fingertips. That can be forwarded to you when you email GeoparkPoetryMap@gmail.com
The deadline for submissions is 31st May 2021.
The Geopark Poetry Map is a project funded by Geological Survey Ireland's Geoheritage Fund and has support from Cavan Arts Office. The digital poetry map will go live in October 2021.
