Ramor Arts Centre presents ‘In scapes / Ex scapes/ Landscapes’ EXHIBITION

Jean Antoine-Dunne’s exhibition navigates between a world seen and recorded and a sense of the ephemeral presences that inhabit these many spaces. As an artist, critic and scholar, Antoine-Dunne has moved across physical borders for over four decades and has sought to find correspondences between these many terrains and waterways through her meditation on the spaces in between.

Her paintings explore the beauty of the world around her, as in the woods surrounding Lough Ramor. But simultaneously embrace that changing scape with a sense of what it is to be a Caribbean woman in rural Ireland.
