Ireland’s project calls will open 15.01.2026.

The CultureAndHealth Platform project organizes annual national and international project calls for artists working in the field of arts & health. Ireland’s national project call will open on 15/01/26 and close on 30/01/2026. Decisions on the selected projects and artists will be made by 20.02.2026.

What kind of projects are supported?

In Ireland, The CultureAndHealth Platform call will support THREE artistic or cultural projects that aim to improve health and well-being of individuals or communities through working interdisciplinary with the health, social or educational sectors.

Grant opportunity for Emerging Artists. Three artists will receive €8,000 each to carry out a project.

Ireland is calling on passionate and engaged local artists to propose artistic/cultural projects that aim to improve health and well-being of individuals or communities through working interdisciplinary with the health, social or youth sectors.

Projects could include:

• Participatory art programmes that support people experiencing physical and mental challenges as well as projects focused on prevention in various settings.
• Projects that focus on socially engaged artwork supporting better health outcomes through the arts.
• Arts in healthcare, social and/or educational environments or projects that enhance healthcare environments and support the staffs and the patient’s well-being .
• Productions in healthcare or social settings: which could include performances, installations, exhibitions that support general well-being and highlight health-related issues .
• Artists residencies in healthcare or social care settings.
• Practice-based research activity (evidence -informed).
