“Talking Heads” the film premiered at Townhall Cavan on 10 December  2019.

The film was a celebration of an oral reminiscence project underway in Co.Cavan this year (Cavan/Killeshandra, Virginia and Ballyjamesduff).

Maura Williamson delivered a number sessions in community settings in Cavan and Killeshandra. Her work was filmed and edited by Paul Farnan.

In Maura’s own words “This short film creates a space, a listening ear, a camera, to allow reminiscence, story to unfold” with Paddy Conaty 'Paddy Speaks', John Conlon, 'a gift to artists' and volunteers from an active community in Killeshandra.

The night generated a lot of discussion on times past and Paddy Conaty (former Cathaoirleach) also celebrated his birthday on the night.

Virginia : Ruth Leonard facilitated reminiscence through poetry work in St. Joseph’s Nursing home for a number of weeks.

Ballyjamesduff : Anthony J. Quinn recently explored reminiscence through memory maps.
